Craft Book, 1928 - in original mailer

A handmade set of furniture purported to be constructed from a c1910 Le Page's Craft Book. It's a wonderful set made of varnished paper, with wooden legs on the table, and brocade fabric on the 2 armchairs. It has developed a great patina over the past century!

From the back of the china cabinet: 'Send 10 cents to Department B Le Page's Craft League'

A full colour cardboard kit and instructions for a series of four small houses, along with slogans galore and the use of 'Le Page' as a verb! Date unknown.

House No. 2, Georgian Colonial, constructed from a colour photocopy of the original kit.

House No. 1, Dutch Colonial, constructed from a colour photocopy of the original kit.
